Dungeons and dragons help!?
Hey, its christmas time and my parents wanted to go all out for a gift. (I don’t know why in this economy) But, they want to know what i want. Since 3rd grade i’ve always wanted to play DnD, I alredy play the minis, but you can’t level up or customize those. I need help finding the right book/book set for a starter. NO STARTER PACK! (already have it) I Basicly need to know what books to buy. I thinnk I need 1.GM book, 2. Player manuel, 3. Monster book. Thanks for your halp!
(I assume we are talking 4th eddition but this info is accurate for any version.)
Well, the books you need depend on if you will be a player or a DM or both. If you wish to join a group and play, then all you need to buy is the Player’s Handbook (PHB). However if you plan on being a DM to your friends or creating a group of your own you’ll need all three core rule books. The DM Guide, PHB, and Monster Manual. These three, 4th eddition, books can be bought together in a nice little box.
