What is your favorite Dungeons and Dragons class?

I prefer to stick to the official classes outside the Player's Handbook. Some of the new classes in the supplements seem a bit silly to me (though I think it would be nice to play a swashbuckler). I like to play rouges and clergy, and sometimes the guards or sorcerer. My favorite character was multiclass – Chaotic Neutral Rogue / cleric. Each class has a different function in the game, so sometimes it's fun to play class different from what they usually do. I think my next character will be a direct combat, I can not play. Can be fun to be at the forefront of change.
