I am a girl who loves games. My family plays games every weekend. My parents liked the toys and education so she grew up playing records Lincoln and Legos. My brother is only two years so that they share toys and I never thought that Legos were not "girls".
When buying Legos for my D & D game, I came across a subset of Legos that were designed to attract girls. There is a whole zoo and a set animal care. There is a whole farm. They are designed for younger girls. So I looked further and found the line Belville. What is in this line? Horses. And dogs. That is, until now.
So I started thinking about the girls I know. They are intelligent, funny and imaginative. What is the perfect combination of Legos for girls? Why not get the girl in his life a "Bounty Brickbeard" set? Who does not like pirates? This set comes with the "figure of the admiral's daughter, unlike the website to write, you do not need rescuing. She is responsible for the attack!
If she is in Star Wars, the "Tantive IV" is great. Princess Leia and the 'droids accent the whole. Lego also has tons of more space-themed sets.
Of course, the line that made me look again Legos Castle is the line. Knights, horses, castles and evil magicians! Perfect for Dungeons and Dragons game. A set – the "Black Tower Defense" set – comes with a princess. She dominates the drawbridge, the direction of golden knights and their followers on how to refuse to magicians of the skeleton that is determined to win!
It ended as the game that makes that Legos a great gift for a child. Appeals to the players for the same reasons. Dungeons and Dragons adventures are complex and at the same time very open to improvisation. By using Legos as props to help illustrate the story, the Game Master and players are acting adventure. The figures are interchangeable so little can rapidly changing equipment for Lego. This is a clear advantage over the more traditional use of D & D miniatures for the game. I realize I lost a few (OK, all) of "realism", if you do not use D & D Minis to represent characters in the battle mat. For my taste, Legos offer sufficient flexibility to compensate any failure in realistic representations.
So if you had not thought of Legos as a perfect gift for your daughter, granddaughter or niece, I hope you get a closer look. And if you're a player, check out the amazing things that Lego is proposed. That just might surprise you.
