the future in Dungeons and Dragons?
I’m trying to create and environment for my friends in my newest module. Now I really like the idea of there being an ancient civilization that has had technology beyond what we have today(like Atlantis, or things in mega man legends 1 & 2) In mega man legends it is said that reaver bots were created by the dark elves from mega man zero. I thought that would be a good story arc. The dark elves will be the ancient race who created this stuff. I just don’t know how to incorporate lasers, robots, iron golems ancient tech etc. I’d ask wizards of the coast but there shut down until Monday because the forums are getting revamped help would be appreciated
naw i play AD&D 1 and 2 lol so im way behind i will have to convert
Look, it is simple. Lasers are Searing light. Tasers are Shocking Grasp, Stun only. Robots are golems, hover craft are Drift disks. What do they run on? That could be a focus of the campaign: “Heavy water? What is that? All water weighs the same!”
And a world where magic works will not freak out over guns. The main thing there is the fighter can use them.
