Dungeons&Dragons free after 9/9/09?
a few mins ago i answered some1s question about a good rpg thats out and noticed another person say d&d will be free after 9/9/09 (2moro). i was wondering if any1 could confirm this or not.
and if it will be, would it be like a free demo, or just a week free, or a limited time offer… or what? cuz i already have the disc
If you already have had an account in the past, you are considered a VIP member and will be able to play for free starting September 1st. Everyone else has to wait until September 9th, but it will be free and is not a “limited time” offer.
However, unless you pay the monthly amount, not all dungeons/items will be accessible to you, and you will not be able to take advantage of certain features and items that can be purchased by paying members (such as Drow race). You can individually purchase some features, however, thereby customizing your experience without having to pay for the entire package.
For example, paying members earn 500 Turbine Points each month (others have to pay for points). The Drow race costs 596 points to purchase. Paying members can play monks; others cannot. Paying members can have 10 characters; non-paying can have 2.
