A good fantasy series involving magic and mythology?
I've been reading a lot of fantasy series: Harry Potter Dark Matter Percy Jackson The Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel Narnia Lord of the Rings Witch All involve mythical creatures, magic and a mixture of mythology. It is the dawn until I'm running out of books to read. Does anyone have any recommendations for my read next? I really do not like the medieval romance or place of knights and kings or books that are derived from a video game (ie, dungeon and dragon). I really like the theme of magic with different basic elements, object magic, heroes on a quest, a lots and lots of monsters and mythical creatures. I really would appreciate some suggestions. Thanks Note: Do not think I can read the Twilight (it's a personal reference please do not criticize and say anything negative or I report).
